BET continues the search for the Next superstar in music with Music Matters showcase at sobs.

On Tuesday January 13, as BET resumed the Music Matters showcase at SOB’s, in lower Manhattan,

Highlighting the best of promising superstars through music with it’s Music Matters campaign, MTV’s Buttahman and Celeste Seda hosted the BET showcase, With Live music by DJ Lyve and Max October; the premiere spot for music with its reputation as the breeding ground for emerging artists Hosted artists like Young Rome, Denita & Sene, and Polly A as the opening acts.

The showcase featured Bronx singer, songwriter Melodie Nicholson Who Rock the house with her soulful melodies and exciting vocal range, Her high-energy performances entertain the pack house capping of her set with an encore performance.

Also featured was Harlem’s own, Rugz D. Bewler, who took to the stage to performed songs like “Paradice ” The single of his latest mixes tape title Béne
